This is Albert. He signed for Watford in late 1977, made two first-team appearances and then went back to Ireland at the end of the following season. I stood behind him once in the queue for the Odeon in Watford High Street – I can’t remember what film we were both going to see. It’s still the closest I’ve ever got to a Watford player.
